- Confirmed complaint, hooked up scanner pulled codes and found. -P2279- Air intake system leak. Removed intake ducting and hooked up smoke machine, inspected over intake system and found. Nipple where the pcv hose connects to the intake is cracking, causing a vacuum leak.
- Removed coolant lines and all vacuum lines from intake and throttle body. Removed intake ducting and removed throttle body. Removed all manifold retaining bolts and removed intake. Cleaned sealing surface and installed new intake, assembled in reverse order. Cleared codes and confirmed no vacuum leaks are present.
