Services Performed
- Drained engine oil, removed turbo heat shield and removed turbo coolant feed line. Removed ignition coils and removed engine vacuum pump. Removed all valve cover retaining bolts and removed valve cover. Removed serpentine belt, tensioner and harmonic balancer pulley. Supported engine with jack and removed front engine mount. Removed all front timing cover retaining bolts and removed front cover, cleaned all sealing surfaces and re installed front cover with RTV. Assembled all previously removed parts in reverse order, filled engine with oil and topped off cooling system. Cleaned oil residue and test drove, checked for oil leaks and found no leaks are present at this time.
- Changed oil and filter. Inspected engine air filter and cabin air filter and found both are very clean.
- Performed rotation, inspected over vehicle and found no faults.
- TIRE PROTECTION
- Test drove and could not confirm complaint, brought into shop and inspected over steering and suspension and found no faults.
- Confirmed complaint of an oil leak, inspected over vehicle an found. -Leak is coming from front timing cover and draining down to the oil pan gaskets.
