- Confirmed complaint, hooked up scanner pulled codes and found. -B1330- Control module power 2 circuit short to ground. Checked primary and secondary lighting control module fuses and found both are intact. Lowered spare tire and disconnected lighting module connector. Load tested powers and grounds and found secondary fused battery power is not present. Removed rear cover to connector and found secondary fused power wire has a pin hole and has corroded. Cut out corroded section of wire and reconnected using heat shrink connector. Now confirmed secondary fused battery power circuit will carry a load. Reconnected connector, cleared codes and confirmed code no longer returns and no check trailer lighting messages appear on the dash.
