Found small amounts of debris but not enough to cause concern. Re installed cover and filled with fluid. Researched causes of this concern and found it is common for the axle shaft splines in the hub assembly to dry out and cause concern. Suggested to customer to clean and lube splines. Customer called at a later data and stated noise is no longer present and will wait on any repair at this time.
- Disconnected ebcm connectors and secured away from belt and fan. Removed module retaining bolts and removed module. Customer will send out module and bring back at a later date to be installed. Customer brought back module, re installed module. Cleared codes and confirmed proper operation.
