Services Performed
- Removed both front wheels, disconnected both sway bar links from the struts and removed abs harness hold downs. Removed lower strut bolts and upper strut bolts from both sides. Removed both struts and installed new, assembled in reverse order.
- Changed all four tires, stems and balanced.
- Removed both rear caliper assemblies and lowered rear sub frame. Removed all retaining bolts for the rear upper control arms. Removed both control arms and removed rear bushings from both. Installed new bushings and assembled in reverse order.
- Removed both right front lower control arm bushing retaining bolts. Removed ball joint retaining nut and removed control arm. Installed new control arm and assembled in reverse order.
- Checked steering and suspension components prior to repair and found. -Both upper rearward control arm bushings have play. -Right front lower control arm forward bushing has play. -Right rear sway bar link has play. After repair, hooked up heads, compensated and took measurements and found rear camber and toe are out of spec. Adjusted rear camber until both adjusters bottomed out. Both are within spec, set rear toe to within spec and test drove to confirm proper operation. During test drive noticed clicking noise in left front when turning at full lock also noticed misfire when accelerating.
