- Confirmed complaint that check engine light is on, cruise is inoperable and ac is inoperable. Hooked up scanner checked for codes and found. -P0341- Camshaft position sensor A and crankshaft position sensor incorrect phase detected. -U0401- ECM failure. Inspected over camshaft position sensors and connector and found no obvious faults. Swapped intake and exhaust camshaft position sensors, cleared codes and test drove vehicle multiple times to run monitor. Found camshaft code has not returned at this time and engine and cruise are operating properly. There is either an intermittent issue or there was a connection issue or an installation issue within the camshaft position sensors. AC concern is not related to the cam or cruise concern. After vehicle sat overnight did noticed a slight timing chain rattle on start up.
- Confirmed concern, hooked up machine and checked pressures. Found system is empty, performed vacuum leak test and system passed. Injected dye and charged system, let system run and inspected for leaks. No obvious leaks have presented themselves, suggest to run ac until it becomes inoperable and then bring back for further inspection.
