- Confirmed complaint, hooked up scanner pulled codes and found. -P0700- Request automatic transmission MIL on. -P2764- Lock up duty solenoid circuit low. Disconnected transmission connector and checked for voltage and ground while commanding the torque converter clutch solenoid on and found both are present. Ohmed out the torque converter clutch solenoid and found the solenoid has no continuity. This solenoid will need to be replaced to fix concern. Torque converter solenoid is serviced with the transmission valve body.
- Removed intake ducting, removed lateral engine mount. Removed electrical connectors and all upper cover bolts. Removed cover and pass through connector. Removed all valve body retaining bolts and removed the valve body. Replaced O rings under valve body and cleaned sealing surfaces. Installed new valve body and torqued. Assembled in reverse order, let vehicle reach operating temperature and confirmed fluid is at proper level.
